This event will feature Sophie Clauwaert, Art Specialist at Quintet, who will offer a curated perspective on the world of art collecting. She will explore art as a refined passion, the emotional and cultural depth behind significant collections, and the essential considerations for ensuring seamless, secure, and enduring transitions of art heritage across generations.
Casa Gregotti is an intimate private home gallery in Milan, originally the residence of visionary textile entrepreneur and art collector Quinto Gregotti, later redesigned in the 1960s by architect Vittorio Gregotti, and now reimagined by his great‑granddaughter Maria as a contemporary cultural salon where art, design, and culinary creativity come together in a warm and personal setting accessible only by invitation.
Sophie Clauwaert is an art advisor at Puilaetco (Quintet Private Bank), specializing in 16th–17th‑century painting as well as modern and contemporary art, with two art‑history master’s degrees (ULB and Sotheby’s Institute) and a background as an expert in Paris before founding her own consultancy and later leading Post‑War & Contemporary Art at Catawiki; she joined Puilaetco in late 2023–early 2024 after years of collaboration, where she now provides holistic, independent art‑wealth guidance, launched initiatives such as the ceramic brussels partnership, and champions art as a deeply emotional, intergenerational “passion investment” integrated into wealth management.
