LIQUIDITY & CURRENCY MANAGEMENT

Supporting the strategic business goals of the group by providing accurate, commercially attractive and diversified funding for Quintet clients

Its objective is also to generate stable profits by taking healthy and controlled risk/reward positions in the trading and banking book.

Money Markets

  • Overnight deposits, time deposits & fiduciary deposits, from 24 hours to one year, in all major currencies
  • FX swaps in all currencies (LCH)
  • 35-day call deposits – only for professional clients (with SWIFT financial messaging services)
    • In all major currencies (EUR, USD, GBP, etc.)
    • Good conditions with reference to the intervention rates of central banks
    • Interest rate adapted to changes in the central bank reference rate during the term of the deposit
    • Single instruction sufficient for opening
    • Redeemable at the investor's option at any time with 35 days’ notice
    • Flexibility to change the amount invested
  • CDs and commercial paper
  • Quintet ECP (Euro Commercial Paper):
    • Notes issued on request with discount (Zero-coupon type)
    • Maturity: 90 to 364 days
    • Min. denomination: EUR 500.000, USD 500.000, GBP 500.000
    • Notes subject to certain restrictions (see Info. Memorandum).

With more than 25 years’ experience, Quintet is one of the leading market-makers and provides Bullion trading and custody services across the financial sector in Luxembourg.
Precious metal pricing, scriptural and physical, mainly gold but also silver, palladium, platinum and standard coins.
