 As a Senior Regulatory Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance of the business with regulatory requirements while managing complex projects from initiation to delivery, which may require a strong technical background. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Group (5 locations) and provide strategic insights to achieve regulatory adherence efficiently. 

 

Travel across Quintet offices may be required punctually. 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to ensure projects are executed within scope, timeline and budget whilst adhering to regulatory requirements.  
  • Identify risks & issues on the projects, escalate them in due time to management, define and implement mitigating action plans to remediate risks identified. 
  • Report project progress & milestones to senior management, incl. risks & issues escalation  
  • Understand interdependencies between regulatory requirements, technology constraints, process efficiency and (business) user requirements 
  • Working collaboratively & efficiently with various stakeholders across the Group, ensure business requirements and technical specifications are defined and documented for solutions to be implemented. Ensure platform convergence and consistency throughout the Group as much as possible. 
  • Utilize strong technical background to comprehend complex technical information and effectively communicate it to various stakeholders from design to implementation  
  • Ensure that the project is delivered within the agreed timeline, budget and scope, and  that the solution meets initial regulatory, technical and business requirements.  
  • Ensure adherence to the Quintet Project Governance Framework and make proposals to further enhance it   
  • Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements, guidelines, and trends, and translate this knowledge into actionable insights for the organization. 

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management, at least 5 of which on regulatory topics 
  • Previous experience in Wealth Management, Asset Management or Banking industry is a must 
  • Banking industry experience: a solid understanding of (private) banking operations &  products/ services is crucial

Attributes and Qualities

 

  • Strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple initiatives with competing demands for limited resources. 
  • Communication & stakeholder management: proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation (verbally and in writing). Ability to influence stakeholders to an effective consensus. Ability to challenge stakeholders as and when required both on the content as well as on the process. 

Technical Skills

 

  • European banking regulatory framework: strong knowledge & experience with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking sector across Europe is a must
  • Project management : proven track record of successfully managing regulatory projects from initiation to approval 
  • Strong technical background in core banking systems with the ability to grasp complex technical concepts. Previous experience with the Lombard Odier platform is a strong asset

Languages Skills

 

  • Fluency in English is a must 
  • French is preferable 
  • German, Dutch are additional advantages
