The Compliance Business Management is accountable to operate an effective, high quality compliance function across all locations. The main purpose of the role is to assist and work closely with the Head of Compliance Operations in support of the Head of Compliance Business Management.


This includes following activities:


-    Create and manage financial budgets
-    Support the strategy and manage our compliance systems
-    Manage all audits and risk item issues across the function
-    Review and simplify current processes
-    Manage the compliance relation with our counterparties
-    Lead and manage change management and transformation program related to compliance function (target operating model, etc.)
-    Build operational risk controls for the compliance function

 

The candidate is expected to demonstrate significant ability to liaise with multiple locations and stakeholders, and to travel occasionally to other locations within Quintet.
 

Key Accountabilities

 

The role will be mainly focused on providing qualified support in the management of the compliance function across all locations:


•    Define, analyse and document business requirements of projects, acting as a bridge between business needs & compliance solutions and interacting with all relevant stakeholders (internally as well as external consultants)
•    Align compliance business requirements with providers approach & tools
•    Manage Compliance (GRC) platform
•    Adopt and propose innovative solutions to support compliance digital transformation  
•    Support compliance change management in financial analysis, data modelling, planning & monitoring
•    Keep a clear view of activities and specificities across the group; be the “control tower” that makes sure that the maintenance and evolutions on the compliance platforms are in the best interest of the business and compliant with the group decided models.
•    Support the Head of Compliance Operations in identifying, formalizing and confirming business requirements and solutions, related to the implementation of the Compliance TOM and strategy program; this also in regards to further developments or new business opportunities or other transversal initiatives / projects.
•    Develop and apply Project Management skills (Agile methodologies) in order to ensure progress monitoring and reporting, risk identification and mitigation, issue identification and resolution.

Knowledge and Experience

 

•    University degree or equivalent experience; any professional certifications are of advantage (CISSP / CISA / PMO / etc.)
•    At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in banking activities
•    Experience with banking systems. 
•    The knowledge of a compliance activities management tool – GRC tools and Data Mining tools– would be an advantage.

•    Problem solving approach

Technical Skills

 

•    Strong understanding of the broader banking business
•    Sound knowledge of the MS Office software tools (including Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
•    Excellent analytic and communication skills
•    Skills in the most recent projects and design approaches (Agile, Design thinking, Digital leadership) 

Languages Skills

 

•    Fluent in English, good command of French is an advantage. An additional language linked to our banks present locations is a plus.
